Did you enjoy the stations service on Sunday? Then you’ll probably enjoy this: 5 weeks of experiencing different ways to connect with God in prayer, guided by Alice Wood (Central member and Spiritual Director). We will be leaning into ways of prayer with ancient roots and rich histories. They may be contemplative, imaginative, silent, creative or reflective. We will spend some time to explore the process of the prayer, but we will mainly be trying the prayer together. We’ll experiment with:
1. Lectio divina and centring prayer
2. Labyrinth walking and the body prayer
3. Imaginative prayer
4. Contemplation with an object and visio divina
5. Drawing as prayer
When: 5 sessions, starting Thursday 19 October, 7:30 – 9:00pm
